Associate Creative Directors Matthew Bottkol and Todd Eisner from Dentsu NY called on Twist Director Chris Stocksmith, well-known for his storytelling and documentary-style of shooting, for an unusual local community effort. The talented trio has gotten behind a new documentary project called “Pong For Teeth” for Brooklyn-based Bartender Jamie Mandel. Jamie, who lost nine teeth in 1995 when his car was hit by a drunk driver, will be playing a 15-hour ping-pong tournament on Saturday, April 30th with the hopes of raising $35,000 for a new set of teeth.
Part of the Social Media-driven promotional campaign for this weekend’s event includes a Ping-Pong Challenge to Susan Sarandon, beloved local celebrity, who also happens to be co-owner of SPiN New York, a table-tennis social club in Manhattan.
